In 2008, Dr. Ellis Ismail, Ph.D. obtained his Master's degree in Medicine at the Medical University of Varna. She started working as a doctor in the Medical Center and later in the Emergency Department of St. Anna Hospital from 2009-2011.

Since 2011 she has been working at MU - Varna as a full-time assistant professor at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Since 2011 she has been teaching obstetrics and gynecology to medical students and specialty "midwife". In 2012 she was enrolled on a free PhD at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. In 2013, she defended her dissertation thesis entitled: "Prognostic factors in combined treatment of invasive cervical cancer stage IB1 according to FIGO" and obtained the degree of Doctor of Education and Science. In 2015 she completed a second Master's degree in Health Management. She has been a specialist in Obstetrics and Gynecology since 2015.

In September 2015 she became a senior assistant at the Department of Health Care at the branch of MU in Shumen. In 2017 she acquired the academic position of Associate Professor at the Department of Health Care at the Shumen Branch of MU - Varna. In 2019 he defended his dissertation on "Invasion of lymphatic and blood vessels in endometrial endometrioid carcinoma - stage I according to FIGO" for the degree of Doctor of Medical Sciences. He has written a monographic work on the topic. Since 2020, she has been working as an obstetrician-gynecologist at the Department of Gynecology at the Hospital "Prof. Dr. Dimitar Stamatov", Sofia. Dr. Stamatov.

She teaches students in the specialties of Midwifery, Medicine and Dentistry in Bulgarian and English. Assoc. Elise Ismail, D.M.D. undergoes practical training in specialized postgraduate courses in the field of obstetrics and gynecology: ultrasound in obstetrics, colposcopy and minimally invasive surgery - laparoscopy and hysteroscopy.

Her scientific interests are in the field of oncogynecology, operative gynecology and minimally invasive surgery, detection and treatment of precancerous and cancerous diseases of the female genital organs. She has had specialized training in oncogynecology in Macedonia, Germany and Budapest. She has worked as principal investigator in international clinical trials in the field of treatment of uterine fibroids, endometriosis and menopause. He is a member of BDAG, BAOG, BAMIGH, SEERS, ESGO, ENYGO.
National representative for Bulgaria of the European Community of Young Gynaecologists (ENYGO) for the period 2013 - 2021. He has over 140 publications in national and international journals. He is the author of two monographs.
