Dr. Peyo Mishev graduated in medicine from the Medical University of Sofia in 2005. He obtained a specialty in cardiac surgery in 2014 and in vascular surgery in 2017. In 2009 he was elected a full-time assistant professor of surgery at the Medical Faculty of Sofia University. He was appointed Professor of Surgery at St. Kliment Ohridski University. 

Currently he works at the Cardiovascular Surgery Clinic at the University Hospital "Lozenets" in Sofia. He participates in a number of national and international forums in the field of cardiac and vascular surgery.

He has a special interest in phlebology (diseases of veins), Doppler diagnosis of venous diseases, treatment of varicose veins with the latest methods.
